In addition to teaching four classes of students ages five to twenty, Manoj is finishing his business degree at a local university.
Before hiring Manoj, the school depended upon volunteers to teach English. Volunteers were often untrained and unreliable, visiting the monastery for brief commitments during the tourist season.
